If you are not entitled we are unable to administer the vaccination. There are a number of community pharmacies that offer the vaccination for a fee.
Please note primary school children will receive the vaccination under arrangements at the school they attend.
Flu Vaccination Clinics 2019-20 Season*
As part of the new GP Contract NHS Lanarkshire will be undertaking a pilot for the delivery of the flu vaccine. Therefore some patients will receive their vaccine from community rather than practice staff. Details of who is delivering the flu vaccine to each group of patients is outlined below:
Who is delivering the flu vaccine to each group of patients?
‘At risk’ patients include the age groups six months to two years, and 18 to 64 with an identified health condition. The vaccination of these groups will be carried out by the practice.
75 years and over will continue to be vaccinated by the practice.
The practice will continue to provide vaccines for care home residents.
NHS Lanarkshire’s Managed Service will administer the vaccine to two to five year olds (not in school), 65 to 74 year olds, and District nursing teams will administer to housebound patients.

Community midwifery teams will administer both the flu and pertussis vaccine to pregnant women. The vaccines will be offered to women from the 16th week of their pregnancy. The dates below are an indication of readiness to deliver pertussis. Flu vaccine will be offered by midwives from October to March.
